This is a thread to look at both sides of this argument. First off, it's a fact, stated by many game developers, that it's a lot cheaper to develop Wii games than it is to develop HD games. Add to this fact, that despite the cost differences to begin with, HD games are usually much bigger projects (pure example, Soul Calibur IV vs Soul Calibur Legends). Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Wii games can't flop. That's not what this thread is about. So let me adress some of the games people usually bring up when they talk about Wii flops. |
The ironic thing is that Deadly Creatures is very tough to find now and still is selling at full price (as far as I can tell). And it is not included in the Gamestop Game Day sale. Meanwhile, the the other game that was released around the same time and to which it is compared -- Mushroom Men -- was.
