If quality doesn't have anything to do with sales, what's the point of spending that much money on a game? I guess Kojima's giving some fanservice to his fans, and that's actually pretty awesome then.

Of course this system assumes all programmers are psychic and can predict market desires and market shifts and know exactly what will sell at all times. But only Miyamoto can do that.

 

 Its because its cool and that stuff, britney sells a lot, that doesnt mean its good.

Other thing, making it accesible for kids and old people doesnt make it good, thats like saying dog toys are great because they are accesible. I personally dont care or wouldnt like to play a bad game that my parents or little cousins would find easy, I would prefer to do other things not related to gaming. When you play games you play them for yourself, Im not gonna waste my time playing a bad game just because and old guy cant play something better.
