You actually can.
For example, I am a musician.I make my first album, Shooting Stars, and it is amazing, excellent, gets me many awards. I then come out with a second album, Falling Comets,which is good, but I change from pop to rock.
People dispute which album is better, so the argument is if I am better than me.......
