I'd say that it's a pretty safe bet to say that these two versions will sell about the same amount (difference in thousands, maybe 15 thousand units) by the end of the year.

 

Actually I'm not sure time will favor the 360.

 

GTA4 did a lot better on the 360 than on the PS3 the first few weeks and since then it's been pretty even ( for a long time it had better legs on the PS3, since the holydays the 360 sells 1-2k more /week).

 

The gap was 1.6 millions in favor for the XBox360 after 10 weeks, it's now only 1.4 millions units ( the game was released in Japan in btw where it sold 150k more for the PS3 so the PS3 closed the gap by 50k in 30 weeks on a game that sold considerably more on the 360 in NA).

yeah thats wat i was saying in my OP also i think that in the Fall the PS3 will start selling more HW than the 360 in terms giving better legs to the ps3 version much like wen the 360 got its price cut last fall GTA started selling more on ut

@BTFeather55 thanks for mentioning that the ps3 is selling better HW wise, the PS3 coming with in 6k last week has alot to do with RE5 sales, the more 360 HW goes down the more 360 RE5 will go down wit it so ur post makes sense to me although it didnt make sense to others
