to an extent. the equation is something like this

[your bet]*[your accuracy]/[average accuracy]

so, if you do better than the average you make more money. If you do worse than the average, then you lose money. When Sonic and the Black Knight released in Japan I made a huge amount of money off of it because I had ~60% accuracy, while the average accuracy was 0%. However, there is some form of payout cap in place so I didn't get infinite money
