Well... it was enough to make an 8 million console gap, caused Sony to lose many of its 3rd party exclusives, and is keeping Sony from making a profit. Hasn't Microsoft done enough damage?

No 6 milions are from early launch gap, 2 milions are result of last year price cut.

 

 

 I think 786_ali point was if PS3 released altogether with X360, it would be ahead and still selling more.
