Even so, the Wii is seen as the weakest of the three when it comes to attach rates and that the huge install base somehow made up for it. If you take into account both (huge install base + highest attach rate), things looked incredible for the Wii in 2008.
Also take into consideration that at least the holiday period of 2008 was the weakest for the Wii (SW wise) while the HD couterparts were in their best. Finally, Wii's 2009 looks set to vastly surpass 2008 with huge upcoming first and third party releases.
