I don't think anyone reasonably expected YouTube to be accessible on its browser; even the iPhone doesn't really handle Flash, so they had to set up a special arrangement with YouTube which involved re-encoding vast amounts of data to make it compatible. If the Wii browser barely supports Flash, I wouldn't expect the DSi browser to ever get even the most minimal support for it.
