Well that is one of the reason we don't like it.
I say Vaan aswell. Edit:(guess I can't since I don't think FFXII is a "great JRPG")
So Instead I say Waka from FFX, His "accent" was a pain to listen to but I managed since FFX is pretty damn good game.
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing
