Snideness aside, what it means is that I have not yet taken, let alone passed, the multi-state bar exam, and am thus not qualified to hand out legal advice. I can, however, direct you to some relevant cases and statutes from your jurisdiction and for your situation, and leave it to you how to proceed. Of course, if you don't care for such free assistance, and want to spend hours in your local law library yourself, you have my permission. In writing, no less. Alternatively, you could just decline. I deign to permit that as well.

Did I need to place a j/k after my comment, I was only joking and not attempting to bash you in any way.  I live in Canada, and I'm not too familar with most of the rulings, so if you know of any relevant cases in Canada I would be more than happy for you to send me links or information about them.
