Without knowing the make/model of your router he can't really help too much. typically the IP for a device will be 192.168.1.x, where 2 <= x <= 255. If there are two devices that share the same IP you have a problem. You can either turn off the other device, or manually configure the IPs so they don't conflict. |
Follow this. Then reset the router.
