I would gladly see Sega and Atari on Sonys and M$s place. I think the gaming world would be much better that way. But if i had to choose only one, it would propably be Micro$oft. I don't see either of those 2 Billboxes bringing anything new to industry (you could say Xbox being Dreamcast 2). Sony has widened the gaming audience, but in the other hand, i think it would have happened anyway. Looks like Sony and M$ have a common goal to get gamers away from consoles, and that is bad for everyone. And all multimedia capabilities raises the consoles price, just like when designing console being as powerful as possible, and then being overpriced.
