@Richardhutnik: I do too see the attitude towards Carnival Games a little stupid. I haven't played it, but it looks interesting and the consept of the game is pretty obvious to appeal people of all ages.
Another thing why people may want to hype Conduit is, that there aren't many titles in that genre that had been done ground-up for Wii in mind and actually put a lot of effort into it. Effort doesn't naturally equal good game, but atleast HVS have tried to create something good. The uncatered market raises its head.
At the same time the same people hope Conduit being a huge success in order for it to generate more software support in the genre.
