I agree with this, actually. Not Rare as they are, but Rare as they were. N64-era Rare especially seemed to know exactly what this so-called "Western Core Gamer" wanted, and if they were still producing like they were, it could handily round out Nintendo's offerings
But i say wait and see, especially watch the 3rd party games that are coming, as well as whatever Retro Studios and Monolith are up to. Between Retro and Monolith, they could fill out a lot of deficiencies, and the 3rd parties are beginning to see the gaps in the console as opportunities (like SEGA's big 3, or Capcom with Monster Hunter, or EA, or the rumored game coming from Konami)
