I was looking at a list of the 360's games, and I noticed a new game I hadn't heard anything about: Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust.
"The Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust video game gives gamers an all-access pass to the glitz, glamour and gorgeous women of Tinseltown. In this 3rd person adventure game, Larry takes a summer job working on his uncle Larry’s movie lot doing odd jobs and trying to uncover a mole from another studio who threatens to air the studio's dirty laundry in the tabloids. Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust is a rollicking, innuendo-laden lampoon of Hollywood that features open world sand box game play that includes exploration, platforming, racing and puzzle-solving to complete missions. From the game's description, this would be a game I would be looking forward to, I spent many of my formative years playing PC games from Sierra including the Original Leisure Suit Larry Games.
However, this game, that released on 3-31-09 has been getting slammed by critics and users at Metacritic. It has a 31 Metacritic score and a 1.6 out of 10 user score.
If you're a long-time Leisure Suit Larry fan and you've played this game (I didn't even know it was going to be released), do you think this is a horrible game or do you think people that have enjoyed past Leisure Suit Larry games will enjoy this one?
