If you got a lot of time in your hands, check out lancun's videos on the zelda timeline on youtube. Many of his ideas have a degree of speculations (most, if not all, zelda timeline debates have that), but most of it makes a lot of sense, probably loads more than anything I've ever read or heard anywhere. And trust me I've read so many of those, read many 20+ pages of debates on different forums...The gametrailers timeline is rubbish, imo, don't bother watching it unless you want to practice counter points, lol.
My personal opinion is quite similar to lancun's since it's the theory I find to be the most logical... But Nintendo would need to clear up some stuff and fill some gaps. It goes like this:
MC-FS-OoT... Then there's the legendary timesplit...
Child Link ending: MM-TP-FSA-ALttP-OoA/OoS-LA
Adult Link ending:WW-PH-LoZ-AoL
I assume Spirit Tracks will be right after PH. Link and Tetra find a new land maybe?
