I loved playing on my Atari 2600 back in the day. I somehow lost it through the years but I still have fond memories. I understand the lack of quality led to the video game crash but I never can comprehend why since I love gaming so much. The video game market never felt ruined to me or crashed (although I was very young even when the NES was released so that is probably why) Without Atari ruining the market in the early 80s, Nintendo would have never filled the gap. So in a way Atari helped Nintendo into the market.
