Great suggestion, but I got burned out on Katamari after repeated marathoning at friends' places. Mind you that was several years ago, so perhaps the magic has returned by now.

I actually tried Godhand, but it just didn't grab me. I'll keep my head down about No More Heroes and Madworld, as I rather like having my head...

I have a feeling he's going to recommend Godhand. I'd recommend it as well, but your views on No More Heroes and Conker's suggests you don't like crazy perverse meta humor as much as me. Still it should be cheap. I personally recommend the Sly Cooper series. Good series of platformers with decent gameplay variety complimented by likeable characters. Each game also has a few fundamental changes that differs it from the other two. Also, they should be cheap. |

I never did try the Sly Cooper games; I'll give 'em a go as soon as I find a copy (shouldn't be too hard, I'd imagine). Any particular starting place you suggest?
