Did it never occur to you that some games that you consider "shovelware" are not necessarily such, they just present values that you don't subscribe to? It's cool that I like some games you don't like, right, and that I think it's okay that Carnival Games is goinng to outsell most games this generation?  How old are you my friend? Because if you are old enough to have lived through the SNES era you would also be upset with the Wii lineup.

 

 

Wow, you've got to be joking. Sorry for interjecting here Khuutra, but I have to. I'm old enough to have lived through the SNES era, and I absolutely love the Wii lineup. Living through the SNES era is the equivalent of being a preteen here - Most people here were gaming WAY before the SNES, and most of them seem to be pretty happy with the Wii. I can assure you, I've seen several posters here that have got more than 10 years on me, and they like the Wii fine. In fact, the oldschool gamers are the ones that seem to like the Wii the most.

I was living through the Atari 2600 era. I remember trying to get me to buy the thing when I was about 8. Megadude you far past insulted the older demographic with you insane rantings of Bias and BS. I know enough people who own a Wii that range in enough age to cover the small kids to the elderly. None of them really complain. Even my GFX whore friend has broken down a bought a Wii for game slike Brawl.

There is a large and diverse enough library with plenty of good games. Just because you like your high quality graphics action orientated violent gamplay doesn't mean that a large number of games aren't good. Puzzle Quest is easily a fantastic game that get's over looked and there are others. 

Your the type of owner who comes across as bitter about the PS era of dominence coming to close and frustrated that your gaming age group isn't being catered too by the new emporer. Live with it and get the piss an vineger out of your old head fart and grow up.  Mature gamers as I'm sure you think you are doin't go around acting like an dick. That's the behavious of a testoren teen behaviour. Though it's scary that the behaviour sometimes stick past 30.
