Sony morphing PS2 into Wii competitor.

Thats the point. It would be a "backwards compatible PS2" with motion controls, a PS2.5 if you will. Every Wii game could be ported to it.

 

They could call it something non threatening like a Pii. How genius whould that be? Sony could have a new console basically without doing much work. Hell the PS2 already rivals the Wii in power so why not?

 

 The PS 2 couldn´t rival the gamecube so how the frack can it rival the Wii when the Wii is more powerful then the gamecube?

You know as well as i do that the Wii is just slightly more powerful than the PS2. Most Wii games are not even PS2 quality anyway.
