Here's my 5 reasons:
1. Because the 360 has such a great reliability
2. Because the 360 has superior hardware to the PS3
3. Because we all know the 360 will last at least 10 years.
4. Because of Halo
5. Because they say the PS3 has the cell and Sony doesn't have any braincells.
My favorite games for this gen:
1. Gears of War 2. MGS4 3. Killzone 2 4. Halo 3(Underated by many) 5. Mass Effect
