1. He is going around gunning down minorities, if you choose to look at it that way, and it was more a parody of yahtzee's awesome review. He is doing what all the colonial powers did, invade a country and then kill any of the locals living there (the "minorities") who stood in their way. That is not really a major point that way, and it is only there if you look for it {though Drake does seem to just kill everyone that he meets about from Sully and Elena}
2. Of course I know it was inspired by Tomb Raider, Indiana Jones etc.. but in terms of gameplay, it also has a lot in common with Gears of War, in terms of fighting
