Believe it or not Nintendo classfies Zelda games as RPGs.
They're as much Action RPGs as anything else really.

Yeah, I've always considered Zelda an ARPG. Some people don't, but I don't see how games like Kingdom Hearts, Alundra, Dark Cloud, or Fable wouldn't be placed in the same genre as Zelda - especially considering all those games use Zelda as a template.
Nintendo seems to fluctuate between "Action Adventure" and "Action RPG" when classifying Zelda.
