You are right. If you said positives about the Wii or the 360 you would not have gotten this response. But, if you simply said: "The PS3 is awsome" you wouldn't have either. Where you go wrong is saying that people fell threatened or that suddenly this generational ship is going to turn within the year.
Wii owners have nothing to fear as the Wii will continue to sell really well and games are coming specifically for them.
360 owners have nothing to fear as their console is doing extremely well this year and the games they want (multiplatform or not) are coming.
PS3 owners should not fear either. Some of the most anticipated icons in Playstation history are coming in the next couple of years.
Realize this: Sony can do alot to better their position, games and price are a big part of that. But remember Microsoft has already shown a willingness to do "extreme" things to stay ahead of them, and Nintendo hasn't even started showing its hand to keep momentum.
