They made an anime, but it never got past the second episode. Besides, I think after how Super Mario Bros. the Movie turned out, I think Nintendo "learned its lesson," right after that.
Which one imo? I think Super Mario Galaxy could make a good kids movie. Only if Pixar works along on the story though. I could probably see Metroid working like many others have listed, but other than that, I don't think many Nintendo franchises have much potential for a truly outstanding movie.
