I agree with some points Benga, but the Wii has still to demonstrate a lot in Japan, and some third-party sales have been really disappointing so far
in Japan. Next week Muramasa will come out, and I wonder how much it will sell compared to Odin Sphere, it's less hardcore though.

By the way, how much did the three previous Project Zero's sell in Japan? Can't find any numbers.

I agree that not all is perfect, but you really can't compare the games 3rd parties have released on Wii to the MGS4-Yakuza 3-Minna no Golf-Winning Eleven-RE5-DMC4 combi PS3 has seen. There's nothing that even comes close to that on Wii, yet the top 3 best sold 3rd party games has two Wii games.

I also don't really agree that Wii has to demonstrate a lot. 3rd parties have to demonstrate something, namely that they'll support Wii. Because they need to if they want a viable console in Japan. Please note that I don't mean that every game belongs on Wii, far from, but Wii is the only console with the potential to come close to PS2's userbase, something that is beneficial to all Japanese 3rd parties. Especially for those franchises that have minimal sales outside of Japan.

Monster Hunter 3, Samurai Warriors 3, Tales of Graces and the Dragon Quest X announcements are a great start and will absolutely drive hardware and software sales, but where's Konami? Where's Atlus? Where's Tecmo?

Muramasa will do fine, nothing stellar. Just like Odin Sphere.

It should do better than Fragile at least.
