No, Uncharted is another Resistance/Motorstorm, excessively bundled, then the sequel tries to stand on its own and fails massively.

Heavy Rain has bomb written all over it, it's a Quantic Dream game and it's a 1st party PS3 game, both of which have a history of underperforming at retail.

If anything MS 1st party is well ahead of Sonys, Forza is a bigger series than anything Sonys launching this year and Halo is in a league of its own, that#s the PS3's biggest problem. A lack of blockbusters, it's mostly fillers, Sony just likes to pretend it's blockbuster.

 

lol you dirty troll. talking about uncharted bundles then conveniently leaving out the fact forza 2 was the heaviest bundled game this gen (besides wii sports/play)

Forza 2 topped 2.1 million without bundles, can Uncharted say the same?

 

 

 

Well, I assume that 2.1M is shipped to retailer, not sold to customer. Uncharted has 2.32M sold to customer according to VGChartz and was bundled very recently, so the actual non-bundled/sold to customer sales are probably quite close. Forza also came out 6 months eariler then Uncharted to a much bigger install base and a genre that was pretty starved at the time.
