it's always :uncharted,MGS4,KZ2,Heavenly Sword,GT5:P,wipeout HD,...Vs Gears (as it is one of  the few games on 360 that really is competing)

Cmon are you serious? Mass Effect looks brilliant so does Fable 2 in fact Fable 2 got my vote for best graphics last year. Just because Fable 2 didnt aim for photorealism doesnt mean it cant impress me the most. Bioshock when it was released was one of the best graphics and even Banjo Kazooie is the best looking platformer currently out.

And Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2, Forza 3, Risen are all games which I believe will be above KZ2 graphics. Alan Wake and Mass Effect 2 for SURE.

 

And that is where your own bias sets in. What you like is always subjective and as such we can never agree.

 

But mass effect wasn't very good looking on the xbox.. fable 2 isn't exacly a crown jewel of gaming and banjo doesn't look as good as rachet or uncharted.. or heavenly sword... or assassins creed... .. or prince of persia.. it has artstyle but that doesn't mean it looks better.

 

You haven't seen alan wake on the xbox yet, and even on the pc it's not exacly a highly action packed game with plenty of things going on. Mass effect 2.. well i won't comment on that, forza 3 ... did you just compare a racing game with a first person shooter ? even so, gt5 (if ever released) will likely look better, comparing forza2 to prologue.. and i dunno what risen is unless you mean the old fps from the 90s .. which i doubt :P

 

I'm not going to say they won't beat killzone 2.. but thers more than 1 thing that makes killzone 2 look so appealing.

Theres no bias. I dont have Heavy Rain in my sig for no reason. Heavy Rain already is by far the most impressive graphics Ive seen from the PS3.

Mass Effect looked damn fine on my 360 at 720p, it had issues with load times and 3 secs to load textures but once it was loaded in provides some of the best character models Ive ever seen. The environments were no slouch either. Fable 2 also had incredible lighting and an art style to die for.

With Banjo I refer to platformers in the cutesy department. Ratchet, Banjo, Galaxy.And yes I think it's better than Ratchet. But POP, Assasins Creed etc are more than just platformers.

KZ2 is beautiful, but to say that the 360 cant do graphics equal or better is laughable. By the gens end there will be 10+ games better looking on the 360 alone than KZ2. Their is plenty of room for code optimization on both consoles. And Risen is this.

 

I just reasearched this "Risen" game. It sound cool and all, its got my interest peaked for one. Yet the images shown for it are said to be running off of PC(by IGN)

The same issue for Alan Wake, which has yet to be shown running on 360 hardware.

Mass Effect was a good looking game, pretty too......pretty damn bright! The light intensity  was off the charts. Everything was super shiney and unrealistic. I believe this was a ploy to cover up some unwanted graphics.
