Some of their games on the Wii is better on the Gamecube.
Brawl > Melee (debatable, really)
Galaxy > Sunshine
Twilight Princess < Wind Waker (although TP is also on the Gamecube)
RE4: Wii > RE4 Gamecube
Metroid Prime 3 < Metroid Prime 1 (MP1 is getting a rerelease on the Wii with better controls. Along with MP2)
And since the Wii is Gamecube BC, it's probably better off getting the Wii. Better deal because this means you can get both GC and Wii games!
