At the end of the year Left 4 Dead will still be above Killzone 2 in sales.

Currently:

Left 4 Dead - 2.03 Million

Killzone 2 - 1.24 Million

If by the end of the year Left 4 Dead has higher sales than Killzone 2 I win, if Killzone 2 has higher sales than Left 4 Dead you win :)

Edit - Oh yeah the usual prize, control of losers signature for a month.

first, this bet is extremely unfair for many reasons. The most prominent is that L4D had special deals going on at Gamestop(main US retailer) that had the game drop to like 20 bucks for a short period of time. That is when that game started selling so well. Killzone 2 will probably still be 60bucks new by the end of the year, just like Uncharted and Heavenly Sword.

forevercloud3000, I know your profile says you work at gamestop but when have they had the 360 version on sale for $20 bucks? I've seen them advertise it on their site for $49.99 on one or two occasions but never lower. Hell, they're still selling it for $54.99 used. Kind of stupid to sell it for $20 when they currently offer you $24 credit to trade it in.

And Max, L4D's NA numbers have been getting adjusted up by Brett. They're currently in line with NPD so if you think VGC is overtracking then NPD must be as well.

i go by official numbers and not vgc or npd. i actually questioned those last batch of npd numbers. look at the official numbers 2.5 million shipped ww pc+360. i dont see a 15 to 85 ratio even close to realistic for NA to EU. so npd may very well have overtracked. we know for certain it isnt undertracked in EU since any upwards adjustment there would put it past shipments

Its very possible the majority of PC buyers bought it off steam and not retail. Again that doesn't fit your needs though ...
