I wanted to get a copy of the special Target edition of Shaun White ($50) That was the only reason that I went for this sale (usually I wait and buy used or later in the cycle). So I needed to get two more games. I picked Sonic & the Black Knight ($50) and FF: Chronicles of Time ($40 -- free) for my games. I realize that both games have gotten medicore reviews. But I am a sucker for Sonic (and plan to get Unleashed on sale soon) and love RPGs (and hope to link up the Wii and DS versions). I could have gotten MadWorld or HotD: Overkill or CoD: WaW or even Dead Rising. But my main game playing partner is my six-year-old son. So I had trouble bringing myself to getting uber-violent games or record-swearing games or an FPS like the other FPS (MoH2) that I haven't played or the violent adventure game that I have not played (NMH). I guess you have to take away my gamer card. But this could be what is driving (and not driving) Wii game sales.

I applaud you for your mature decision. To me maturity keeps children safe from abusive content. You did just that. You did the right thing.
