Not so. My chihuahua can't jump over them, so he climbs over them. He will jump up, hook his little toes on it like fingers, and actually climb up and over the gate.

We need to find other ways to contain him.

 

He is by far not a smaller breed, he is part wolf and shephard.

Well, I dont mean to start something, but I do beleive owning a wolf is illegal.  Even if it is mixed.   Either way be careful with that dog,  wolves have instincts that cannot be controlled in most normal circumstances, and mixing it with a German Sheppard didnt help.

No it isnt. As long as the dog has under 70% Wolf his is legal to own. Anything more you need a license. Going by his mother and father's breeding charts I'd estimate him to be about 65% wolf.
