So are we finally done believing Madworld will have legs? lol. that was a dumb belief from jump.

Should it have been a PS360 game?  It would have sold tons better.

Aha, sure. Because that same audience bought millions of Okami's and GodHands last gen, didn't they? That's why Persona is such a huge hit on the mighty PS2. Or Suikoden, another example of the PS2 userbase eating up the quality games. The much praised Ico is surely a million seller, right?

Please tell me you think Killzone 2 should have been on 360 as well. It would have definitely sold a lot better there.

It should have!  360 sells tons of shooters, so if they wanted to sell an additional couple million units of the game, and didn't mind the game not looking how it does, then yes, by all means, the game should have been multi-plat.

@ Dark Chaos

Should MGS4 have been multi-plat?  Yes, it would have sold more.  Bigger audience, etc.  But the thing about that is that the fanbase is mostly PS fans, so I'm not too sure about how well it would have sold on the 360, but I'm sure that altogether it would have shipped more than 4.5 mil if it was out to double the userbase.

Why is such offense taken to what I said?  And why did everyone have to run to KZ2 and MGS4?  I don't give two flying fucks if either of the games were exclusive or on sixty-three platforms.  Devs are falling left and right, and they need to make their money the best way that they know how.  As long as both of them were on the PS3, I wouldn't care what other platforms they were on.  What that is is a sorry attempt at trying to paint my argument as a fanboy argument when it's thee truth.  Higher install base = more sales.  PS360 install base > Wii install base, and we can truly see that the hardcore demographic on PS360 > Hardcore demographic on the Wii.  It's all in the numbers.

It's a shame that Wii fans can not take it when a game tanks on their platform, and must resort to attacks on other platforms, rather than notice that The Wii is not, and never will be the platform where every game needs to go.  It's not the PS2.

I believe that the only exclusive games that should ever exist are those from first-party, and Gears and MGS4 because they mean so much, and are closely tied to their respective user-bases. Madworld should not have been a Wii only game because, as many had predicted, the game bomba-ed.  Had this been on the PS3 or 360, the game would have sold much better because the hardcore userbase is there.
