Ah, now that's a gem of a title IMHO. Bugs scuppered it but patched and played as intended it was superb. Good FPS with a great setting and a real good use of different mechanics. I'd love to see more titles take its approach to a persistant world you operate in. I understand Far Cry 2 is a bit like that so I must get around to it at some point.

Ahh yeah, persistent is another key word for interesting games IMO, in addition to sandbox/open world.
Persistent open world shooters and RPGs rule. Far Cry 2 is a good example, I love that game. And in the RPG genre it's Oblivion of course.
