Objectively, by looking at the HD version of the video, it does look quite better than your usual 480p Wii output. Let's forget for a moment about playing Wii games on a PC, because emulation glitches and framerate and controls could make that spotty...
This video is the simplest proof that games on Wii _could_ have been looking better if Nintendo had put some beefier hardware in their console _without spending a cent more in games development_
Let that sink in, because the usual counterargument to an HD Wii is that "HD development costs 4 times more" an that would have been a deadly weight on the game developers.
Well, here's a game that would have looked better at no extra development cost if only Nintendo had accepted a slightly lesser margin per console sold.
I don't feel comfortable knowing that.
