While they started with almost the exact same sales, 09 has had far better legs than 08. I guess All Play worked after all.

Must be why the PS3 version is doing so much better than last year.

 

 

 

Madden 08 was gimped on PS3, no surprise that 09 which fixed most of those problems sells better. Personally I think Madden has turned to shit all around, I'm really starting to hate that EA exclusive deal.

Erm...it was sarcasm. Both the PS3 and Wii versions of Madden NFL 09 are doing much better than the 08 versions because both of their userbases are vastly larger. The 360 seems to have hit its limit in the Madden demographic and doesn't show as much year over year growth for the series.
