Look at how the Wii games have sold. Wii Fit has sold around PS3 hardware numbers. Tales of Symphonia hasn't even cracked a half a million. The core fans haven't necessarily disappeared from the Wii but not only are parents buying the Wii but grandparents and other groups of people that don't normally game. You really have no idea of how many women come into Best Buy and ask for a Wii and the Wii Fit and show absolutely no interest in ANY other game with the exception of maybe Jillian Michaels. I'm just happy that Nintendo are still releasing core games.

Considering I worked at Best Buy, I DO have an idea of how many women come in buying Wii not only children and grand kids, but for themselfs. I have sold Wii's to a lot of women. I have never said that core fans have disappeared from the Wii, as software sale would suggest otherwise. Super Paper Mario isn't selling to mom's obviously. Tales of Symphonia 2 may have not sold 1 million copies, but it has sold on par with quality JRPG's on others sytems. It was a low budget game with a budget price tag.
