Some of the posts here are amazing (huge compilation of numbers, well informed opinions, up-to-date news, etc.) but most posts are petty opinions like everywhere else.
You're right on the moderation, it's really good compared to other sites.
It would nice though if there was some selection among the posts. There's really too much crap on the front page.
