Hate week:100 reasony why fanboys hate casual games

But the best thing was this reply wich I think is pretty accurate:

You know, I’ve been playing games since I was about 3 years old, with Pac-man/Dig-dug in the arcades, and my first system, the Atari 2600. I was HUGE into gaming as a kid, with my NES and Game Boy, even some select PC games (such as the Apogee classics), and even though I got them later than most, my SNES and N64 through my adolescence. I’m not AS huge into games these days, but I own a DS and Wii, and love them both.

But you know what? I think I’d rather hang out with so-called “Casual” gamers any day, than to get stuck listening to the whining and projected insecurities (psychologically speaking) of so-called “Fanboys”. I can’t STAND listening to “Fanboys”, idiots who call themselves “Real Gamers”. I don’t even CONSIDER myself a “gamer”. I’m a guy who plays games, when I feel like it. And these articles are not only redundant, but they’re insulting to anyone with an ounce of personal integrity and a social life.

The sad thing is, most of these so called “Fanboys” were kids that got made fun of for being “nerds” in school. And now that they’re grown up, or at least the ones who ARE grown up, instead of learning from their experience, they turn around and attack so-called “Casual gamers” for having the AUDACITY to invade their private nerdy little world. Please.

Games are games, period. And people who feel the compulsive need to put a label on everything, and draw lines that don’t need to be there, need to grow up and get a f***in’ life."
