How far are you away?
Because it should easily work up to 5 metres away... I didn't realise use Europeans had living rooms big enough to go that far away.
If you are closer than 1 meter away, then it will be difficult to use because it's really sensitive.... if you are further than 5 metres then you may hev to take the advice of some of the others here.

What would be best is of you could take a photo of your set-up, preferably both from where you sit to play, and from 1 side so we can see the distance easier... this will enable us to give better advice about what you should do.
