| Khuutra said: There was definitely a pacing problem with Diamond and Pearl, a problem which was exacerbated by an extreme level creep at the end and further exacerbated by the very slow combat. I ended up beating the Champion with a team whose average level was 10-15 lower than hers. It took a lot of buffing and liberal use of my Dialga. Grinding to an appropriate level would have taken so long that I didn't feel it was worth it. I never really played much after beating Cynthia, which is a shame. I'll need to ask some Platinum players if the leveling rate is more balanced. |
I agree with that.
Also, the music (which to me is incredibly important) was kinda crappy in Diamond/Pearl.
I felt that
Pokemon Diamond has
- Worse music than Silver
- Not nearly as good Pokemon as Silver
- Less funny comments
- More grinding based
The problem isn't that it is more of the same, it is that is worse at doing the same stuff.
