What has gotten into Square Enix?

Lots of their talent is either not there anymore (Sakaguchi for your best example), or has no more talent, or doesn't get any attention. Their last few games are good - but nothing like Squaresoft/Enix stuff.

And to top all that, they are going after the mainstream western audience ATM. What the fuck, SE?
