Also, why can't a game like Starcraft work on a current console? I doubt it is too graphics heavy, plus the PS3 has full keyboard and mouse support. What is the excuse?

I for one am not very happy about hearing news about a possible new console.

Because a keyboard and mouse are not suited to the idea of a console in the living room (the intended norm).

A gamepad is no substitute. An IR pointer could be though, or as EndWar tried out, gamepad + voice commands may work.
