so, how will the sd card solution affect vc/wiiware sales?

it may indirectly affect it more with more "pay to play" titles announced and more additional DLC in Wii games.

We may even get a demo channel at some point and an increase in Wii Ware maximum file size somewhere down the line, a new wii bundle may even ship with a SD card included in order to get people downloading.

Who knows what this is a step towards but I reckon Nintendo have plans for it.

 

thats a good idea about an sd card. they could throw in some cheap 1gb-2gb card and have the console come with like 1000 wiipoints.

i know new consoles sold now come with another channel in the internal memory. this channel is a few minute long video about what the wii shop channel, virtual console, wiiware, ect is and some general instructions about how you can hook your wii up to the internet and how to go into the wii settings and set up a connection, ect. you can delete this channel when you don't want it anymore.
