Can't tell if you're being serious or not sometimes =P
Either way the only credible data I was able to find online says that whites are represented proportionally and that on the whole recruits come from above average income neighborhoods and above-average income households while holding above-avarage educations.
The data also suggested that this trend was a positive one with recruits coming from wealthier backgrounds, with better educations over time.
As for age...well there are legitimate practical reasons for why that would only work to a point but if my experience with old white ex-military men like my father are any indication they would gladly break a hip trying to do just that if they were excepted back. Although to be completely honest I don't really think from my recollection that them being white had anything to do with it, I know many of the people who worked for my father in the Air Force whether it was black, white, latino, asian, etc... and didn't seem to make a difference in the way they felt, and still feel, about their work and their duty.
