Just shut the fuck up. We both know exactly why you made this thread, and you're right, it's not about me, it's about akuma587 and your belief that he hates the men and women of the armed forces.

It's a place for people to give thanks to the troops, and an opportunity for Akuma to change my view of him all at the same time.

Why would you take this attitude in this thread? Damn man. Usually it takes 2-3 pages to derail a thread. This time it took 1 post.

It infuriates me that you would use a thread SUPPOSEDLY about giving kudos to brave soldiers as a Trojan horse for your hatred of anyone who DOESN'T give them. That is true disrespect, and you ought to be ashamed of such a tactic.

No, I made this thread for two reasons. To praise the troops (a group of people who I have been defending for the last hour), and a platform for others to do the same thing.

I thought this would be a good, positive way, to do both. A win-win so to speak. I thought all it could do is at best improve my view, and military personal who visit's view, of people on this site who from time to time give us the impression that they don't like the troops. And at worst do nothing (because if they didn't have anything nice to say, they would not post).

Never expected it to become this.. especially right off the bat.
