What I heard him say was negative things about the men that serve. When I told him I had meet thousands that don't meet that description, he only came back with statistics to prove his position that solders have higher crime rates then non solders.

Not much pisses me off on this site.. but if that conversation had happened in person, he would have gotten his ass kicked.

He came across as a pompous ass rich collage kid that sits back in a safe country, and puts down solders during wartime. Thinking about it again just pisses me off. I am going to bed.

So it pisses you off that your anecdotes don't trump his statistics?

[I realize that as a man who is proud of his country, and proud of the armed forces and the men who serve in them, it must pain you very much to have to stand there (figuratively) and listen to someone tell you that such-and-such percent of them are rapists. But sticking your head in the sand or beating up the messenger doesn't make those crimes disappear, and ignoring the problem is no way to solve it and make the best military on the planet even better.]
