Dude, I was insulting Fox news, not all Americans. And yes I shouldn't make fun of the economy, lots of good people have lost their jobs.

But come on, barely our own country? I'm pretty certain we were settled around the same time as America, and we've been allies with America for like 200 years so come on chill out man.

I was alluding to the extremely close economic ties, and cultural ties aside from you still being attached to the Commonwealth (you are right?) and of course Quebec.  If it wasn't for the border crossing and metric speed limits you'd never know the difference, amirite?
