I didn't miss something like Hyrule Field because that's usually a lot of space with barely anything in it (at least in the 3D games). |
Interesting, that's probably what I missed the most. Because actually, Hyrule field and all the other places are anything but empty. In Twilight Princess, I spent so much time just wandering and searching the hills for secrets... or, for example, I still remember the atmosphere at Eldin Bridge at night. I really like it when a Zelda game presents one huge, continuous world. The sea in Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass reduced it to smaller, isolated places - imo that took away some of the "Zelda feel".
So I'm a tiny little bit annoyed by the train thing in Z:ST, cause it's in fact just another excuse for leaving big parts of the world empty (mostly I'm overjoyed, though :) Didn't expect a new Zelda so soon). I hope they'll include more side quests anyway. And pimpin the train shouldn't be completely useless like it was in Z:PH.
Did I say side quests? Man, that reminds me of Majora's Mask... STILL not on VC after 2 1/2 years, unbelievable. I'd buy the Collector's Disc, but the framerate & dropout issues are too annoying.
