I'm not sure about this, but it seems to me VGC Japan numbers include some smaller asian markets aswell (Hong Kong, taiwan,..) . They are always a little bit higher than the cumulated sales of the official japanese sales trackers, although sometimes the weekly numbers are below those of one of the trackers.
